It’s sometimes necessary to reset your Inventor profile to test Inventor launch issues or errors. Here's what you need to know and do.
Before resetting, uninstalling or moving to another system you want to back up your Inventor Application Options settings and some customization settings.
The only Import type for Alias Concept .wire files into Inventor is Convert Model. The option to Reference Model is not available during the import process.
When importing Inventor objects into Navisworks, the orientation of the imported part doesn’t appear to be correct. This has to do with the difference in which program thinks is the “top” view.
Inventor Factory model is missing some assets when opened in Navisworks. Some of the parts don't show up, and some of the assets from Inventor show up incorrectly.
