Inventor remains one of the most widely used and most popular tools in the Autodesk collection. No matter how experienced you are, there's always something new to discover!

Issue: Ability to add design notes and documentation to parts (IPT) and assemblies (IAM) files. Causes: Track design changes with notes and documentation at the file level

Causes: Assembly is required for the representation of an item, only a part is needed. (Example: assembly file provided by vendor can be simplified to a part for insertion into design.)

After migration Inventor is slower than before, opening inventor, creating a new drawing, home page, among other examples takes longer.

Inventor 2026's title bar can now show the Model State scope after the active Model State name.

Issue: Easy way to open components from assembly on drawing view. Causes: Multiple steps required to open a component of an assembly used in drawing.

Unable to export to Revit RFA or RVT or import an RVT file in Inventor.

Creating a new file from a Sheetmetal template the following error pops up
