Issue:
When you click to “Import from Google” and you receive a script error.
“An error has occurred in the script on this page…”
And an error that the browser is not supported…. “You are using a browser that is not supported by the Google Maps JavaScript API…”
Causes:
We were recently made aware that Google discontinued support for Internet Explorer within the Google Maps API. As a result, this impacted the performance of the embedded browser window in the Import Map Tool in our Utilities for Civil 3D which was based on Internet Explorer. We now have a fix in place for this issue. The links below will take you to the updates.
Note: that you will have to uninstall the previous version before installing the new version.
Solution:
Our development team has resolved this problem and has posted an update/fix.
Note: If you do not have a Utilities for Civil 3D 2022-2019 authcode already, then you will need to first generate it at www.imaginit.com/utilities-request. It must be the 2022-2019 version and this version will install into all versions of Civil 3D 2019 and newer if already installed.

Installation steps:
- Please download the updated Utilities from one of the links above and extract the files from the .zip.
- Exit all versions of Civil 3D.
- Install from the Extracted zip folder.
- Run Civil 3D and test the Import from Google functionality.
We are sure that will get you up and running. However, if you have any questions or problems with the process, then please contact us by sending an email to support@rand.com with your situation.
