Panzura File Systems
Issue:
Users experience random crashes, lockups, or long delays while saving drawings stored on Panzura. In some cases Civil 3D becomes unresponsive or closes unexpectedly. Files saved locally perform significantly better.
Causes:
Civil 3D 2026 has slightly different background saving procedures than earlier versions which can trip up Panzura.
Solution:
1 – Save the drawing locally and test performance.
2 – Verify whether the issue occurs only on Panzura-hosted files.
3 – Contact Panzura customer support and they can change settings to resolve the issue.
