Raster Design: Unable to convert Vector PDFs into AutoCAD Geometry using Raster Design

Issue:

Unable to convert Vector PDFs into AutoCAD Geometry using Raster Design.

Causes:

Raster Design is an Image Processing tool. This does not have the ability to handle PDFs.

Solution:

How to possibly handle this issue.

  • Export the PDF as an Image (Tiff being a good example) format. Then use the tools as you would with any Image.

Use PDF Import in AutoCAD to perform the conversion.
