Fabrication – Button Mapping

Issue:

Design line is not putting in the correct reducer, bend or pattern.

Causes:

Missing or incorrect button mappings.

Solution:

There are a few solutions to fix the issue. You can add new button code mappings or change current configurations of button mappings. To add a new button code mapping, open “Edit Service Database”

Then select Services and the button mapping tab.

To add a new mapping, right click in a blank spot and select New.

Under the “Button Code” option you will select the new mapping. Example a “bend”:

The options under alternates goes back to the fittings and the coding specified per part.

If you want to move/ swap fitting choice up or down in the list and change the sequence, select the button mapping and then select the up or down arrow on the right:

This will change the priority of what item design line puts in first, per the coding.
