AutoCAD: Image Rotations Misaligned in 2026 when in 2025 they are aligned

Issue:
AutoCAD 2026: Image rotations in 2025 are correctly aligned, whereas in 2026, they exhibit misalignment.

Causes:
Known issue ACADIDEA-2285

Solution:
When you have an image in 2025 that let’s say for example is rotated to 90 Degrees. When this file is opened into AutoCAD 2026 the Image is now rotated. This is a known issue and was reported and has the issue ID of ACADIDEA-2285.

What appears to be happening is that the rotated images in 2025 are now in 2026 the 0 rotation and the original rotation has been added to the existing rotation. So, the example of an image in 2025 being at 90 Degrees in 2026 it will rotate another 90 Degrees and be 180 Degrees.
