AutoCAD: How to control the recent block history in the Block Insert Palette

Issue:

You would like to know how to control the number of recently inserted Blocks on the Block Insert Palette.

Causes:

This is as Designed.

Solution:

How to control the recent block history in the Block Insert Palette

BLOCKMRULIST System Variable

  • Type BLOCKMRULIST on the command line and select the <Enter> Button on your Keyboard.
  • Type the number of recently inserted files you would like to see and select the <Enter> button on your Keyboard. (The default is 50)

 

Note: You should now only see the number of recently inserted files set in the variable on the Block Insertion Palette.
