Issue:
Map 3D: When using MAPIINSERT no world file is found, The dialog simply shows “Image Defaults”.
This can also happen in FDO connections.
Causes:
Name length, Path length (Min 128 characters), Blank spaces(Name or Path), Nonstandard Characters (name or path).
Solution:
Rename the file and associated World files to a shorter name or shorter path
