Civil 3D: When using the Command Line in one file, types in another files Command Line

Issue:
Civil 3D: When using the Command Line in one file, types in another Files Command Line.


 You have more than one file open in the same instance of Civil 3D. When you start Typing on the Command Line. The typing takes place in another open DWS’s Command Line.


Causes:
Level of Detail has been known to cause this issue.


Solution:

How to turn off Level of Detail

Click, View tab>Views panel>Level of Detail from the Ribbon.

Type levelofdetailoff and select the <Enter> Key on your Keyboard.

(Turn back on Type levelofdetail and select the <Enter> key on your Keyboard.)
