Issue:
You launch the Batch Standards Checker and when you add certain drawings (containing Civil 3D data) the Batch Standards Checker crashes and gives you the Crash Error Report Screen
This issue occurs in all versions launched from the 2019 and newer products shortcuts.
Causes:
In tracking this issue down, it appears that the Civil 3D 2019.3.1 update was installed it caused a corruption in the Object Enabler for Civil 3D 2019.3 version
Solution:
The solution is simple. First uninstall the Civil 3D 2019.3 Object Enabler
Then, reinstall from a fresh download from the Autodesk Website. That seems to correct the issue and now all versions will open the drawings properly for checking.
If that doesn't correct the issue, then it may be related to an open Civil 3D defect (only with 2019), CIVIL-36370 . Autodesk is aware of this issue, but has not corrected this defect at this time.
Note: As of 03/19/2024, Civil 3D 2019 is no longer supported by Autodesk. The information contained in this post may no longer be relevant and/or the necessary updates to the product may be inaccessible.
