Twinmotion and the Community Edition

By now you may have received an email from Epic Games regarding some upcoming changes to versions of Twinmotion. It reads as follows:

What does all of that mean for you? In short, if you have been using one of the free versions of Twinmotion, such as the educational version, you will now be lumped together into the Community Edition. This version will carry with it the limitations mentioned above. However!! If you are a professional using the software through your Autodesk Subscription entitlement, you will not be a part of the Community Edition. Revit users will still have the same access as before. Additionally, Revit users will still need to have access to the free Epic Games Launcher, though, to access cloud assets, such as those upcoming from FAB as well as the ever increasing OOB downloadable content.

That all being said, the Cloud Presenter Tool and Panorama Sets are going to be locked behind fully commercial licenses, meaning you will need to have purchased an actual full license of Twinmotion to continue to make use of these important features! If you already have projects on the Cloud Presenter, you will still be able to access those, just not create any new ones without the appropriate licenses.
