Revit: It's All Connected Level 1 - Beginner

Learn the various uses for the Group tool in Revit. Bringing all types of elements into a single Group. Move that object around making adjustments. Edit group object which effects all copies of the same group. Hide part of the group at each location. Add annotation to the group to display important data. Break apart the group making them individual elements again.

Objectives:

  • Link Autodesk Revit models into a host project.
  • Modify link display settings in views.
  • Import or link files that were created in other CAD programs into an Autodesk Revit project.
  • Query elements and delete layers in imported/linked CAD files.
  • Explode imported CAD files.
  • Import and modify raster images.
  • Export Autodesk Revit projects to other file formats, including CAD formats and DWF files.
  • Export information contained in a project to gbXML that can be used in other energy analysis software.
