One or more rooms not showing in plan views in Revit

Issue:
After inserting a room in a particular space it does not show in plan view and room tag is not displayed, however the room shows in elevations and sections. Other rooms in the plan view show correctly.

Causes:
The room boundary is not properly defined.
This is often caused by one or more room bounding elements overlapping, or improperly placed within the space. Elements that can cause such behavior include Room separators, Wall elements, Ceilings, Floor elements, Roof elements, Columns, and Building pads.

Solution:
To fix this problem, check for room bounding elements within the space that shouldn’t be part of the primary boundary.

•    Toggle Reveal Hidden Elements to reveal elements that may be hidden.

•    Toggle off room bounding for element that shouldn’t be part of room boundaries.

•    For elements like room separators where room bounding can’t be toggled off, you may either modify them or delete them if they’re not wanted.
