Inventor 2023 doesn't have a lot of new iLogic tools but we now have the ability to add external rules and global forms to the ribbon.
External rules and global forms now show up on the Ribbon tab of the Customize dialog box. You can filter by iLogic Rules and iLogic Forms using the Choose commands from drop down list.
The external rules listed are those from the External Rules Directories listed in the Advanced iLogic Configuration dialog box. This can be found in the expanded Options panel on the Tools tab of the Ribbon.
The global forms listed are those from your iLogic\UI folder in your Design Data location.
Adding a rule or a form is the same as adding commands to the Ribbon. Choose the rule or form on the left-hand side of the Customize dialog and choose the environment and tab on the right-hand side. Click the >> in the middle (or double click on the item on the left) and it will populate.
You can then choose whether you want the icon to be large and if you want the text to be displayed.
Once you've added rules or forms to the Ribbon, you can also add them to the Quick Access Toolbar by right-clicking on the button on the Ribbon and choosing Add to Quick Access Toolbar.
