Generative Design Update: 3 & 5 axis milling

September 14, 2018 Brady Scoffield

Hey everyone! Autodesk recently released an update to Generative Design and it includes two new features that I think are pretty neat!

When making your selections in the Manufacturing window, you can now select Milling as a manufacturing method.

Generative Design allows the selection of either 3 or 5 axis milling. Once a study has been completed and a design chosen, you can download the model and place it into Fusion 360

Once in Fusion 360, switch over to the CAM environment and begin programming your part!

Thanks!
