Why don't the IMAGINiT Vault Client Utilities install in the Vault Basic client?

Issue:

Even though the IMAGINiT Utilities for Vault Client appear to install, they are not available in the two common locations in the Vault Basic client.

Causes:

The Vault Basic version doesn't support the Job Server and Job Processor, that the Vault Client Utilities use to create jobs for BOM Extract, Create PDF, Create DWG, Create DXF, Create Flat Pattern or Create STEP.

Also, Vault Basic doesn't support items, lifecycle states or bill of material features.

Solution:

The installer for the Vault Client utilities looks for the JobProcessor when it attempts to reset the menus to include 'IMAGINIT Utilities' in the Tools menu and also in the selection right-click menu.

Vault Basic cannot load add-ins like Vault Workgroup and Vault Professional can, therefore the Vault Client Utilities are not useful in Vault Basic.
