Issue:
How to generate an Autodesk network license file from an Autodesk account at manage.autodesk.com.
Solution:
1. Log into https://manage.autodesk.com as Contract Manger or Software Coordinator and go to “All Product and Services”.
2. Choose any product and select View Details. The example below is for AutoCAD.
3. Select “License Details” on the right side of the screen.
4. There are 3 options to generate a license: Single Server, Redundant Server, Distributed Server.
Choose Single server if all of your licenses belong on a single server. This is the most common option.
Choose Redundant server if you have 3 Network servers setup as a "Triad" in case one server goes down.
Choose Distributed Server if you have multiple "seats" that you want to split onto multiple servers or systems.
If you choose the Distributed option, then you can generate multiple license files at the same time by selecting "Add network Server". After inputting all server name and MAC addresses, then you can generate multiple licnese files at one time.
6. Once generated, then you will have the option to download the license and email the file. We recommend both downloading the license file and emailing the license file to ensure you obtain a copy.
