Issue:
Autodesk: During uninstall error “Could not open key”


Causes:
Permissions

Solution:
This error indicates that you do not have permission to edit this key. 

•    Login to Windows using an administrator Account and try to uninstall.
•    Possible that rights could have been set on this registry Key. You can try to reset rights to this Key.
1.    Right click on the Windows Start Button and select “Run”.
2.    In the system run dialog type “Regedit”.
3.    Then select “OK”.
4.    Go to the location of the Registry Key in the error.
5.    Right click the Key and select “Permissions”.
6.    Select each user (or the user you need to change such as your login and the admin login) Tab.
7.    Set each to “Full Control” and select “OK”
Now try to uninstall again.

•    You may also try using the “Microsoft Windows Trouble Shooter Tool” (Replaced the Fix-it app) in Windows to perform the uninstall.

•    Reach out to your IT for permission. There is also a possibility this could be a result of a corrupted Windows Profile.
