“Autodesk Access Service Host” error when installing Autodesk products

Issue:

When you find an error in the install log referring to “Autodesk Access Service Host” as the issue

Solution:

  1. In the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen, type Services in the search box.
  2. Click on the Services App.

  1. After opening the services app, find the “Autodesk Access Service Host” and either right-click the “Autodesk Access Service Host” and choose “Stop”. You can also highlight the “Autodesk Access Service Host” and choose “Stop the service” at the top left of the Services App.

  1. Go to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AdODIS\V1 and click on the RemoveODIS.exe

  1. Now try to install your Autodesk product again.
