A sign-in error occurred on macOS AutoCAD or Fusion in Safari

Issue:

During the download for AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT for Mac or for Autodesk Fusion, the installation on an Apple Mac computer will typically start by signing in to Autodesk's user profiles or accounts page.

When you sign into Autodesk with your accounts  page or from the products page in the Apple Safari browser in macOS on a Mac computer, the login page may be slow to load or might show an error.

Causes:

Due to the default security settings for Safari, check to see if 'Enable content blockers' is checked for the current webpage. Uncheck that if so.

Also check if pop-up windows are blocked for profile.autodesk.com and set to Allow if needed under Safari's Preferences.

Solution:

If the content blocker option is unchecked, and pop-up windows are allowed, but the manage or profile page is still slow to load, then consider switching to the Google Chrome browser. Then test the same login again.
