AutoCAD 2022 Count Performance with large numbers of blocks

Issue:

With the new COUNT Command in the 2022 version AutoCAD-based software, performance is significantly impacted when you have large numbers of blocks in your drawing.

Causes:
This is due to AutoCAD trying to process significantly large numbers of blocks when using the COUNT command.

As an Example:
I tested on a DWG with 17433 blocks (of which 16000 were all unique names), and it took over 5 minutes to process the count itself and caused significant delays (2-4 minutes per command) on AutoCAD commands while the count operation was still running.

Solution:
This is simply a factor of how many blocks and unique names are in the drawing.  If you encounter issues with COUNT and slowness, then close the count command and only use it when necessary.
