Civil 3D: Corridor Section Edits vs Frequencies

The Corridor Section Views Editor is a great tool to view and edit design manually at key stations. It can be found the the corridor contextual editor

 In the example below, the right-side lane was widened to 20’ at station 1+25.

The edit was then applied to the station range 1+25 to 2+50.  Notice that the widening is applied from station to station with no taper control, just a straight connection point.

Something interesting was discovered when the frequency was adjusted, in the case below the interval was  decreased from 25' to 10' in the corridor.  The newly added stations are created using the default values, causing a zig-zag pattern.
