Can I delete the C:\Autodesk\WI install files folder?

December 29, 2023 Ken Williams

Issue:

The C:\Autodesk\WI folder contains too many files and is taking up valuable hard drive space. Can I delete this folder after I install my Autodesk products?

Solution:

Yes, as this folder contains installation files which after installation can be removed. The initials WI means Web Installer. It is not usable as it has a time stamp expiring the installer shortly after download.
