Revit could not load C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2024\EnergyAnalysisDB.dll

Issue:
When starting Revit 2024 an error “Revit could not load C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2024\EnergyAnalysisDB.dll and then closes when selecting OK

Causes:
When uninstalling Revit 2024 using the Autodesk uninstaller located in folder C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Uninstallers can cause this issue after reinstalling Revit 2024

Solution:
When receiving the error, you have the option to select Help which opens:
Revit cannot be launched when DLL file is not loaded.
During troubleshooting this error, we tried uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft C++, tried uninstalling and reinstalling Revit 2024, and ran the window updates and still received the dll issue.
The current fix for this issue that we have found is to simply uninstall Revit and Autodesk Revit Unit Schemas 2024 using Programs and Features

or through Apps & features (do not use the UninstallHelper.exe) and then reinstalling Revit 2024 seems to fix the issue. To navigate to Apps and features, go to settings, then apps, and then Apps and features
