Changing Email Address associated with Autodesk ID results in loss of access to Autodesk cloud based products

Issue:

After changing the email address for your Autodesk account, you get an error message when starting an Autodesk cloud application.

You may get a message that states: "The person using 'your old email address' has already been invited to this hub. Have you recently changed your email address associated with your Autodesk account?"

Solution:

You need to restore your old email address:

  1. Sign out and close all of your Autodesk cloud applications.
  2. Sign in to your Autodesk Account
  3. Click Profile > Security Settings, then click the edit button for the Registered email
  4. Change to your original email address
  5. Save email
  6. Restart the cloud application
