Issue:
How do you reset your Autodesk Account login for your Autodesk applications?
Autodesk recently updated their Autodesk Licensing Support Tool to include a user interface (UI) in version 2.3.0.692. Through the new UI version of the Autodesk Licensing Support Tool (AdskLicensingSupportToolUI.exe), users can change the licensing method for their installed Autodesk applications, check if the URL’s used for Autodesk licensing are accessible, reset the local Autodesk account login, enable verbose logging, and view the Autodesk installed versions for licensing components.
The instructions below provide the quickest steps to use the AdskLicensingSupportToolUI to reset your Autodesk account login on your computer.
Solution:
The Autodesk Licensing Support Tool can be downloaded from the Autodesk link below to troubleshoot common licensing issues. **All Autodesk applications should be closed prior to running this command to ensure the licensing is properly reset.**

The file will download as a .zip file. Extract the zip file and you will encounter two folders. Open the folder AdskLicesningSupportToolUI.
Right click on AdskLicensingSupportToolUI.exe to “Run as administrator”.
A User Access Control dialog box may appear asking if you want this application to make changes. Select Yes. (Administrator permissions are required to run all the tools from the AdskLicensingSupportToolUI)
The Reset Login tab is used to reset your local Autodesk account sign in (aka the Login State) on your computer. Some licensing issues can be resolved by signing out of an application and resetting the sign in information. When a user launches their Autodesk application, the user will be prompted to sign into the computer with their Autodesk account. The “login state” information is recreated.
The local account sign in can be reset manually but the Autodesk Licensing Support Tool performs the task much quicker.
The AdskLicensingSupportToolUI will launch on the Installed Products tab. Select the Reset Login tab and then select “Reset login state”.
A dialog box will appear prompting you to shut down any open applications. Ensure all applications are closed before selecting “Yes” to complete the command.
When the command completes, a notification will appear stating “Autodesk products login and licensing cache was successfully reset on this system. Please launch your Autodesk software and sign-in with you Autodesk Account credentials.”
Launch your Autodesk software and sign in to license the application.
Exit the Autodesk Licensing Support Tool when the login state has been reset. If you encounter any additional problems, then please contact IMAGINiT Technologies support at 888-528-4765 or support@rand.com.
