Starting March 24, 2025, Autodesk will implement its new buying experience for Autodesk Construction Cloud software solutions. This will impact you if you have one or more of the following software solutions:
- PlanGrid Entitlements
- Pre-Construction Bundle
- Construction Operations Bundle
- VDC Bundle
- Account-Based Build
- Project-Based Build
What Does This Mean for You?
If you’ve purchased other Autodesk named-user products, you may already be familiar with this process, as it was introduced for most Autodesk offerings in June 2024. If this is your first time using the new buying experience, don’t worry—your relationship with IMAGINiT remains unchanged. The key difference is the way transactions are processed. IMAGINiT will still assist you in recommending the best technology solutions for your needs and send you a quote; however, your order will be processed and invoiced directly with Autodesk. Additionally, we’ll provide technology and industry insights, support, training, and integration solutions to ensure seamless adoption of your Autodesk tools.
If your company requires vendor setup with Autodesk, please refer to our comprehensive FAQ, which includes explanations, process details, and useful links prior to your first purchase in the new buying experience.
Product Bundle Changes Effective March 24, 2025
In addition to the transaction process update, Autodesk is enhancing their Construction Cloud Bundled offerings with the following adjustments:
- Assemble is no longer a standalone product but is included in the VDC bundle.
- BuildingConnected Pro, Bid Board Pro, and TradeTapp will remain standalone products.
- ProEST is included with the Preconstruction Bundle and will no longer be sold separately.
- Pype AutoSpecs and Closeout are included with the Construction Operations bundle and will no longer be sold separately.
- Autodesk Build offerings will automatically include BIM 360 and PlanGrid entitlements. Both will now have quantity-based and value-based pricing options available. (Note: Autodesk Build 550 is not eligible for BIM 360 entitlements.)
