Vault Autoloader fails to import - Could not validate files

March 8, 2023 Bob Felton

Issue:

During the import of multiple files into Vault using the Autodesk Autoloader some folders are rejected from being transferred into Vault.

Causes:

The error message 'Could not validate files.' appears during the Copy & File Redirection stage, like this:

Solution:

Sometimes, the files themselves are preventing the bulk import into Vault.

For example, if STEP files are linked to some of the files being imported, that can complicate the import. If they are removed, then the Copy & File Redirection stage may be able to continue.
