How to Display All File Versions in Autodesk Vault Thin Client

Issue:

You do not want users attempting to install Autodesk updates from Autodesk Access and you want to use Group Policy to distribute the registry key  to multiple users to block updates

Solution:

If you use Group Policy in your company, you can distribute this registry key to multiple users
  1. Open the Group Policy Management Console using gpmc.msc of the server
  2. Create a new Group Policy Object (GPO) in the OU (Organizational Unit) you prefer
  3. Expand the User Configuration section > Preferences > Windows Settings > Registry
  4. Right click on the Registry, and select New > Registry Item
  5. Use the following settings:
     a.    Action: Update
     b.   Hive: HKEY_USERS
     c.   Key Path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\ODIS
     d.   Value Name: DisableManualUpdateInstall
     e.   Value Type: REG_DWARD
      f.   Value Data: 1
