Bluebeam Revu 20 End of Life: Key Dates, Impacts, and Next Steps

Bluebeam Revu 20 End of Life: What You Need to Know

Bluebeam has announced the End of Support and End of Life dates for Revu 20. Organizations still using Revu 20 should review these upcoming changes, as they may affect technical support, license management, Studio access, and integrations.

Key Dates

July 31, 2026: End of Support

Beginning July 31, 2026, Bluebeam Revu 20 will reach End of Support status.

After this date:

    • Technical support for Revu 20 will no longer be available.
    • License management services will end.
    • License reassignments to different computers will no longer be supported.
    • Revu 20 installers will no longer be supported or maintained.

December 31, 2026: End of Life

On December 31, 2026, Revu 20 will officially reach End of Life (EOL).

After this date:

    • Studio Sessions will no longer be accessible through Revu 20.
    • Studio Projects will no longer be accessible through Revu 20.
    • API integrations connected to Revu 20 will stop functioning.
    • Access to Bluebeam cloud services through Revu 20 will end.

Who Is Impacted?

The Revu 20 End of Life announcement applies to all Revu 20 license holders, including perpetual, maintenance, academic, enterprise, site, and promotional licenses.

Key impacts include:

    • Organizations already using Revu 21 cannot run Revu 20 and Revu 21 simultaneously on the same license. Revu 20 licenses used in this manner may be terminated beginning July 31, 2026.
    • Revu 20 licenses with expired maintenance, promotional licenses, not-for-resale (NFR) licenses, and academic licenses will be terminated.
    • Customers with active maintenance contracts or Studio Enterprise agreements will receive additional guidance directly from Bluebeam.
    • Perpetual license holders can continue using Revu 20 locally. However, license transfers to new computers will no longer be supported after July 31, 2026, and access to Studio Sessions, Studio Projects, and API integrations will end after December 31, 2026.

Next Steps

If your organization is still using Revu 20, now is a good time to review how the upcoming End of Support and End of Life dates may affect your users, licensing, and workflows.

Bluebeam recommends moving to Revu 21 through one of its subscription plans: Basics, Core, Complete, or Max.

All subscription plans include:

    • Revu 21
    • Bluebeam web and mobile access
    • Technical support
    • Access to Bluebeam University training resources

For teams that rely on Studio collaboration, cloud-connected workflows, integrations, or ongoing support, moving to a supported subscription plan before the End of Life deadline can help reduce disruption and maintain continuity.
